The Women Evolving Consciousness and Culture blog has been created by the women of EnlightenNext, a 501(c)(3) not for profit educational organization. For the past seventeen years, we have been working with spiritual teacher Andrew Cohen to pioneer a new phase in culture that depends on the spiritual liberation of women and men. We are developing what we call the Next Women’s Liberation—with the aim of freeing ourselves from the roles and structures within us that have shaped the nature of women for millennia. Our credo is expressed in “The Eros (Wo)manifesto”—the first post on this blog. We are contemporary mystics, who are not withdrawing from the world into a monastery,  but are striving to be living expressions of Eros, which is Spirit in action, to create a new future.

Through our work under the guidance of our teacher, we have plumbed the depths of the female psyche, shining light on the shadows that limit the full expression of who we can be. We have begun to discover a new consciousness that liberates us from neediness and competition, creates unity in strength and purpose, and radically transforms the primary relationships that define our culture. Our mission is to bring this consciousness forward to women who want to evolve and to stand shoulder to shoulder with each other and with men to co-create a new culture. We’ve worked for nearly two decades so that other women don’t have to!
